Harrison Street Asset Management, the investment management division of Colliers International, has integrated its affiliated North American investment management businesses to create a global real assets investment platform.
Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, Rockwood Capital, and Harrison Street Private Wealth (formerly Versus Capital) have been brought under the Harrison Street AM brand. However, Europe-based Basalt Infrastructure Partners and Roundshield Capital will continue to operate autonomously under their respective brands.
For Europe, Harrison Street AM is planning to create an income-focused lending platform capturing “differentiated asset-backed opportunities”, that sets out to leverage RoundShield’s sourcing network, vertically integrated student housing platform and operator relationships.
Harrison Street AM had bought a 60% equity interest in credit investment manager Roundshield Partners in June this year. The firm is based in Jersey, with key offices in Geneva, London, Madrid and Munich. It was founded in 2013 and now has $5.4bn in assets under management, specialising in asset-backed capital solutions across real estate, infrastructure, and financial assets.
